ACTION TEAMS
Our Action Teams (AcT) are how we get things done! Action Teams are the basic unit of research and action around specific issues in SBPA. Our members can propose creating a new Action Team and present it to other members and the Steering Committee at our quarterly Membership meetings or monthly Steering Committee meetings. Currently we have the following Action Teams but there are many issues on our platform! If you see a topic you are passionate about, that you would like to build an Action Team around, contact us.
CONNECT 
ELECTIONS ACTION TEAM
This Action team focuses on local Elections for the South Bay area and works to identify, develop, support, and elect local candidates who refuse to accept corporate donations. Join us!
CLIMATE ACTION TEAM
The goal of this team is to raise awareness, educate, and create actions to address climate change, climate justice, and environment policies both locally and at the federal level. Join us!
EDUCATION ACTION TEAM
The main goals of the Education Action Team are to organize, educate and mobilize parents, students, educators and communities to defend public education. Join us!
ELECTORAL REFORM ACTION TEAM
The goal of this Action Team is to enact policy change that will maximize the influence of the American individual on the electoral process and the representatives they elect. Join us!
PUBLIC BANKING ACTION TEAM
This Action Team focuses on promoting and implementing public banking, community economics and sustainable fiscal policies for social and environmental justice. Join us!
